  • Hardy and brave temperament
  • Excellent in hot, desert conditions
  • Historical war horses of Rajput warriors
  • Height: 14-16 hands (142-163 cm)

Kathiawadi Horses

Originating from the Kathiawar peninsula of Gujarat, these horses are closely related to Marwaris but have developed distinct characteristics through selective breeding in different terrains.

  • Slightly smaller than Marwaris
  • Known for endurance and stamina
  • Gentle and willing nature
  • Well-suited for long-distance riding
